The Tory MP for Plymouth Moor View, elected in May, shot a commercial for Dove shower gel shortly before he reached Westminster, which shows him lathering up in the shower.
They [the marketing agency for Dove] phoned us up because they wanted people who weren't models or signed-up to an agency. When they asked me, I thought 'Why not, it will be a laugh.' It was really fun . . . Hopefully it will be forgotten about quickly.
With great shower comes great responsibility.
